Named endowment funds provide a lasting legacy and long term support to our mission of improving the lives of women, children and families. The purpose of a named fund can be for the general support of NCJW/Cleveland or for the support of a designated program, service or activity. The fund can be named for the donor or in honor or in memory of a loved one. Expenditures from a named fund are made in accordance with policies approved by the Board of Directors.
A named endowment fund can be created with a tax deductible gift of $5,000 or more and can be paid over a five year period. Additional contributions to a named fund can be made at any future date. There are currently 75 named endowment funds at NCJW/Cleveland that serve as a lasting tribute to the vision and commitment of the donors and help NCJW/Cleveland meet the many challenges to women, children and families in our community.
Please call Mindi Axner, Executive Director, at 216-378-2204 X103 to discuss the establishment of a named endowment fund in honor or memory of your loved one.
