The COVID -19 Pandemic has dramatically changed the way NCJW/CLE can work in the community. As a result, some of our members have reached out asking for ways they can help. We are offering an opportunity with the newly created Barbara Mandel Emergency Relief Fund. Stacy and Keith Palagye created this fund in loving memory of their mother, Barbara.
It will be used to provide relief funding for identified NCJW/CLE projects such as materials for making masks and funding for meals to emergency workers as well as to projects undertaken by organizations with which NCJW/CLE has worked. These funds are not to be given to any individual.
The decision about how the funds will be used will be made by the VPs of Advocacy, VP of Community Service, the President and the Executive Director based on the following criteria:
- It supports the NCJW/CLE mission.
- It provides current project enhancement or expansion.
- It supports a current affiliation with the organization or any organization that supports our mission.
- The financial impact of the request is proportional to the dollars raised.
We hope you will considering donating to the Barbara Mandel Emergency Relief Fund. You can do so by clicking here. In this way you can help continue NCJW/CLE’s mission of improving the lives of women, children and families.
Many thanks for your support of this effort.
