ATTEND THE NCJW/CLE-SPONSORED FILM AT THE CHAGRIN DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL

The film, Activized, follows seven ordinary American citizens who leave their comfort zones and become involved in issues such as gun violence prevention, voting rights and immigration rights. They are people who never saw themselves as rabble-rousers or troublemakers, but were inspired by past experience to step up, put themselves on the front lines, and make a decision to defend American values and democratic institutions they believe are under threat. A discussion with the director, Eric Stange, and one of the women featured, Gail Weinstein, will follow.

Date: Wednesday, October 7 (A link to watch the film will be emailed prior to the October 7 discussion)

Time: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Location: Your home via Zoom

Cost: Free to NCJW/CLE members; $5 for NCJW members from other sections, to be donated to CDFF
