FUND DEVELOPMENT: WHAT’S THAT ALL ABOUT?

Membership dues are very important. By paying dues, you are showing your support for the work we do. Each member is making a statement that shows how much they value our vision and mission. When funding organizations and/or political officials ask us how many members we represent, it’s important for us to be able to show that we have a large membership, and that the support they give us – whether it’s funding our work or listening to us on political issues – will be heard by a lot of people who will be happy to know that we are being heard.

But membership dues cover only about 3 percent of our annual budget.

Enter the Annual Fund!

That other 97 percent of our budget has to come from somewhere. And while we have endowments that contribute to our annual budget and grants that come in to offer support, the Annual Fund is our most important revenue stream each year. Generous donors like you are the people who help us meet our budget goals. And our budget is important as we continue to provide the services we do to the women, children and families we support with clothing, books, and so many other things.

Our Annual Fund follows a fiscal year budget, which means it runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. If you have not yet made a gift to  the Annual Fund this fiscal year, we hope we can count of your support today!

You can make a secure online donation HERE or mail a check to our office, NCJW/CLE, 26055 Emery Road, Warrensville Heights, OH 44128.
