PEOPLE PLEASING & PERFECTIONISM (Part of NCJW Cleveland’s Self-Reflection Series)
Do you feel responsible for how others feel? Do you put others’ needs before your own, leaving you exhausted, resentful, or lonely? If you’re praised for being nice, self-sacrificing, or agreeable, you might be a people pleaser or a perfectionist.
In this one-hour workshop, certified somatic life coach Rebecca Fellenbaum will guide you to explore the roots of these patterns and help you begin to shift them so that you feel more valuable and worthy.
We’ll cover:
- Signs of people pleasing and perfectionism
- Why we learn to blend our boundaries and ignore our needs
- Tools to build a solid sense of self
- A practice to begin identifying your wants and how to express your needs
This session includes a short teaching, guided exercise, group discussion, and optional hot seat coaching. You’ll leave with insight, ideas, and simple shifts to help you move out of people pleasing and perfectionism.
